Andhra Pradesh Pedalandariki Illu Scheme 2024

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has come up with a new scheme known as the Pedalandariki Illu Scheme which is part of the successful scheme of Andhra Pradesh known as the YSR Housing Scheme. Under this scheme, the free of cost houses will be provided to the beneficiaries who belong to economically weaker sections of society. The main aim of launching this scheme is to provide them a better house to live in so that they would not have to face any problem regarding their stay in various places. The poor people of the state such as Kurnool, Nellore, and Visakhapatnam district will be able to get well-maintained and quality houses under this scheme.

The houses under this scheme contain a kitchen bedroom, living room, toilet veranda etc. The main focus has been provided on the quality of material and the related things to the houses. Around 15 lakh houses have been prepared under this scheme. The main objective of launching Pedalandariki Illu Scheme is to provide better houses to the poor people of Andhra Pradesh.

Objective of Pedalandariki Illu Scheme

As we all know there are many due to their weak financial condition or not being able to buy their own houses. And this creates a lot of difficulties for them to stay in various places. By keeping this in mind the Government of Andhra Pradesh has created a new scheme known as Pedalandariki Illu Scheme. Under this scheme, free-of-cost houses will be provided to the people who belong to economically weaker sections of society. The main objective of launching this scheme is to provide housing facilities to poor people.

Under this scheme, well-maintained houses will be provided to the people who belong to the economically weaker section of society. These houses will help people improve their living conditions and standards.

Pedalandariki Illu Scheme Implementation

The respected Chief Minister YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy launched this scheme through video conferencing on 18th November 2020. The chief minister has directed the officials for the successful implementation of the Pedalandariki Illu Scheme. The directors have been instructed by the CM to complete the preparatory work for the distribution and construction of houses. The CM has also directed the official to take vacate stay orders issued by the High Court.

Under this scheme, the land acquisition process for the house site has been contested. This scheme was a part of Navratnu created by the CM Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Pedalandariki Illu Scheme Benefits

The benefits of the Illu Scheme are as follows:-

• The benefit of this scheme will be provided to the people who belong to the economically weaker section of society.
• Under the scheme the quality houses will be provided to the poor people of the state.
• Around 15 lakh houses will be provided to the people under this scheme.
• The houses under this scheme contain a Kitchen, Bedroom, Living room, Toilet and Veranda.
• The focus will be given to the quality of these houses.
• The benefit of this scheme will be provided to around 28.30 lakh houses.
• The chief minister has allocated the budget of Rs. 50,940 crores.
• This scheme will help in encountering many hurdles of the homeless people.
• All the interested applicants who want to apply under this scheme will have to visit Andhra Pradesh State Housing Corporation.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh.
• The candidate must not have their own houses or land.
• The benefits of this scheme will be provided to APL BPL Ration card holders.
