Lado Protsahan Scheme has recently been started by the Rajasthan Government to benefit the daughters. Through this scheme, financial assistance will be provided to the daughters of poor families of the state through savings bonds of Rs 2 lakh. The benefit of this scheme will be given from the birth of the girl child. Under Rajasthan Lado Protsahan Yojana, after the birth of the girl child, assistance will be provided by the government for her studies from class 6th to class 12th and college level. Financial assistance will be provided to the girl child as per her category in every class.

Now, if daughters are born in the poor families of the state through this scheme, then daughters will not be a burden for those families. Objective of Lado Protsahan Scheme

The main objective of launching Lado Protsahan Scheme by Rajasthan Government is to encourage the birth of girl child and provide them financial assistance so that poor families do not consider their daughters as a burden and can nurture them well. There are many poor families who think negatively about the birth of a girl child and consider her a burden. Therefore, the Rajasthan government is running the Lado Protsahan Scheme to eliminate this negativity prevalent in the society.

Under this, poor families will get a savings bond of ₹ 200,000 on the birth of a girl child, with the help of which people from economically weaker sections will be able to easily afford the education of girls. Girls will get this financial assistance till they get higher education, which will enable them to progress in the field of education and brighten their future.

Details of incentive amount given to daughters

Under the Rajasthan Lado Protsahan Scheme, financial assistance to daughters will be released from time to time by the government in the form of installments. The government will provide financial assistance to daughters from class 6th till they complete 21 years of age, details of which are given in the table below. That when and how much assistance will be given to the daughters.

Benefits and Features of Lado Protsahan Scheme

Rajasthan Lado Protsahan Scheme has been started by the BJP government on the lines of Ladli Laxmi Scheme being run in Madhya Pradesh.
Through this scheme, financial assistance will be provided through a savings bond of Rs 2 lakh on the birth of a daughter.
Through this scheme, financial assistance will be provided by the government from the birth of the daughter till her marriage.
This financial assistance amount will be provided to the daughter in several installments for her studies.
Under the Lado Protsahan Scheme, financial assistance will be provided to the girl child from class 6th till the age of 21 years.
The amount of financial assistance provided by the government will be sent to the girl’s bank account.
All the poor, backward SC and ST category families of the state will get the benefit of Lado Protsahan Scheme.
Girls education will increase through this scheme.
Eligible girls will be economically empowered and self-reliant and the field of education in the state will increase.
Daughters of economically distressed families will be motivated towards education.

Only eligible families will be benefited under Rajasthan Lado Prasad Scheme so make sure that you follow the conditions given below –

If you are essentially a permanent resident of Rajasthan.
If you are living below the poverty line then you are eligible for the scheme.
You belong to SC, ST, and backward class.
You can apply for this scheme only if you are the guardian of a daughter.
You have various documents required under the scheme.
