Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has launched the UP Women Entrepreneurs Empowerment Helpline Number on 29th September 2021. This Yogi helpline number is beneficial for women entrepreneurs in the state and has been started under the ongoing Vikas Utsav programme. UP Women Entrepreneur Empowerment Helpline Number 1800 2012 will be 6844. The Uttar Pradesh government under the leadership of CM Yogi Adityanath has left no stone unturned to make women entrepreneurs self-reliant in the last 4.5 years. Yogi Govt. Providing employment, dignity, security and self-reliance to women entrepreneurs in the state.
Yogi Mahila Entrepreneur Empowerment Helpline Number is an initiative of UP Government. The objective of the program under Vikas Utsav program is to make women entrepreneurs self-reliant by providing them security, employment, dignity and self-reliance.

Key Features of Yogi Helpline Number for Women Entrepreneurs

• About 75,000 women from 75 districts will be provided entrepreneurship development training, skill development training as well as training for their safety at their workplaces.
• Women entrepreneurs will be able to get all the information related to MSMEs and the possibilities of self-employment and entrepreneurship.
• Under the flagship Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana 2.0, free gas connections will also be provided to women.

Mission Shakti, Women’s Helpdesk, 1090 Helpline in UP for Women’s Safety

On 17 October 2020, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath launched Mission Shakti Abhiyan. The mission aims to provide protection and resources to help women and children become self-reliant. Chief Minister Yogi also launched separate women help desk rooms in 1,535 police stations of Uttar Pradesh. During the launch, the CM has also directed that all women helpline numbers including 1090, 1098, 1076, 181, 112 and 102 should be prominently displayed.

On 12 February 2021, Uttar Pradesh Police launched a new helpline number for the safety and security of women named “Women Power Line – 1090”, with a motto: “Hamari Suraksha: Mobile Hath Mein, 1090 Saath Saath”.

On 21 August 2021, the Chief Minister launched the third phase of Mission Shakti with a focus on the safety of women living in rural areas. Under the phase, women constables or head constables will visit villages twice a week and take cognizance of women’s problems along with spreading awareness about government schemes to benefit women.
